After a long hiatus I’m recording again. This time, instead of trying to create perfectly crafted songs, I’m just playing with my field-recorder recording and uploading the best recordings to my “Quarantine in New York” series on Soundcloud.

I prepared the piano with felt under the hammers to dampen the strings. This really brings out the subtle reverberations of the strings and soundboard. No external reverb needed.
